The product
Ratio1 is a decentralized edge network designed to power AI and compute workloads across distributed providers. It enables developers and infrastructure operators to participate in an open ecosystem where services can be deployed, discovered, and consumed across a network rather than a single vendor.
Ratio1 focuses on practical delivery: making it easier to integrate compute providers, expose capabilities to applications, and evolve the network through a modular architecture that can grow over time.
Key Features:
Decentralized compute and AI workload execution on an edge-oriented network
Provider participation model for operating and delivering services
Developer-oriented integration surface
Modular architecture for adding new services, capabilities, and network components
Designed for interoperability across infrastructure and applications
Our work
We contributed to Ratio1 by delivering a full-stack implementation across protocol, on-chain, and application layers.
Our work included:
Designing and implementing smart contracts to support core network logic and on-chain coordination
Developing backend services to handle orchestration, data processing, and network interactions
Building a responsive frontend to expose network capabilities and management interfaces
Contributing to protocol-level components to ensure interoperability and reliability
Designing and maintaining the database layer for consistent state management and performance
We approached the system as a unified architecture, ensuring that contracts, backend services, and frontend interfaces worked together cohesively rather than as isolated components.
This required aligning on-chain logic with off-chain services while maintaining performance, security, and maintainability across the stack.
